Pet care handbook
Routines, quirks, meds, the vet's number. Written down once, ready the moment someone else takes over.

Friends, sitters, walkers, or entire teams. You choose who sees what.
Your pets' routines are right where you left them.
Hello
Your people
Save a pet sitter once, then link them to whichever pets and dates make sense.
You'll see when a pet sitter first opens each part of a pet's handbook — the routine, things to know, medication, who to call — under Manage access, and you're told the first time they open it. For anything urgent, still call or text them.
Your own clients
Every visit you clock in and out of for your own clients, priced at your rates. Download a spreadsheet or send an invoice. Kinbi never handles the money.
From your pet sitters
Invoices your sitters have sent you through Kinbi. Pay them the way they ask; Kinbi doesn't take payments.
Visits
Visits you've asked for, and visits people have asked of you.
Who you look after
Everyone who has shared a pet with you. Open a pet to see their care details while a shift is running.
Hello
The owner sees what you clock in and check off. Can't do something? Text them.
About you
What the people you work for see when they open your name. You write it once — everyone who has linked you reads the same thing.
Plenty of owners hand over a key to someone they have never met in person. A face helps.
Your working week is on — owners see that on your profile too.
Your week
The week you normally work, and the dates that break it.
This is a guide for whoever assigns your shifts — it doesn't block anything. You can still be asked to cover a day you've marked off, and you can still say yes.

Time off
If they don't have an account yet, this connects automatically once they sign up or log in with this email.
A spreadsheet exported from whatever you use now. One row per pet — a client with three dogs gets three rows.
Or paste it
We look for columns named something like client name, client email, phone, pet name, species, breed, sex, birthday, weight, vet, vet phone, allergies and notes. Anything else is left alone.
You can set this up now and they can take it over later — they don't need to do anything first.

Everything about on one page. Each section opens the page where you change it.

The code We'll make one
Every link needs a code now — a link on its own can be forwarded, and the code is what makes it theirs. Kinbi generates one and shows it next to the link; tell your pet sitter separately, in a text or out loud. Type your own only if you'd rather.

Each share below shows what they've opened and when. If something's time-sensitive and it says "Not opened yet", call or text them.

Create a link first to preview what this pet sitter will see.
Check a task on the days they're doing it. Anything you leave unchecked stays off their screen entirely — and they can't log it either.
Anything you want done on a particular day — a bath, an extra snack, bringing in the mail. It goes on their checklist for that day only; the regular routine doesn't change.
Start with the basics. Next come the things a pet sitter needs to know, and their daily routine.
Personality, habits, anything that keeps them safe. Add at least one — tap a few below or write your own.
Quick picksWhat happens every day, and when. Tap to add, then set the times. For a change on a single day, use the week strip on the Routine page later.
You can skip this, but can't be shared with a pet sitter until there's at least one thing on the routine — otherwise they'd open the link to nothing to do.
Daily medication and their vet. Skip it if there's nothing to add — it's always there on the Health page.

How you charge for visits
Nothing is shared until they say yes. Then it appears in their Kinbi account for just this visit — these pets, these days and times, and the tasks you choose. If they already look after these pets that day, it goes on what they have instead of a second share.

Kinbi works out hours and pay from clock-ins and gives you a spreadsheet for payroll. It never moves money.
A 10-minute visit paid as 30 minutes, for example. Overnight stays aren't affected.
Only you and this staff member can see it.
The clock record stays as it was; this changes the times used for pay. The staff member is told.

Door codes, alarm codes and keys are kept locked and separate from everything else. A pet sitter only sees them if you switch home access on for their link, and only while signed in to their own Kinbi account, during the visit, after clocking in. You'll get a message every time someone looks.
Outside these hours this link shows the time of the visit and nothing else. 15 minutes' grace either side.
Enter the email on your account — if it matches, we'll send a reset link.
These are the rules for using Kinbi. By creating an account or opening a Kinbi sharing link, you agree to them. "Kinbi", "we" and "us" means us; "you" means you.
Kinbi helps pet owners keep track of their pets' care and share it with pet sitters and pet care businesses for as long as they choose. Sitters can check off tasks as they go, so owners can see what's been done.
Kinbi is not:
Sharing with someone under 18. A sharing link doesn't need an account, so we can't check the age of whoever opens it. If you share with someone under 18, like a neighbor's teenager who walks your dog, that's your decision, and you should get their parent's or guardian's OK first.
Check in with your sitter. Sharing with someone doesn't tell you they've opened it or read it. Before relying on Kinbi for anything urgent or medical, confirm directly (by phone or text) that your sitter can see the right information.
Reminders are a helpful extra, not a safety system. Kinbi can send reminders and updates, but they don't replace talking to your sitter or your own judgment about your pet's needs.
We can't promise every message arrives, or arrives on time. That depends on things we don't control, like your phone, your settings, your email provider and your internet connection. Whether or not a reminder arrives, you're still responsible for the care you've agreed to provide. For anything urgent or medical, confirm directly as well.
As far as the law allows, Kinbi isn't responsible for any harm or loss, including harm to a pet, caused by a message that didn't arrive, arrived late or was wrong.
Kinbi doesn't choose, check or recommend any pet sitter, dog walker or pet care business. Any arrangement you make is between you and them. If you run a business on Kinbi, you're responsible for hiring, training and supervising your staff.
Looking after animals always carries some risk, like injury, illness, escape, damage or death, however careful everyone is. By using Kinbi to arrange pet care, you accept that risk.
Kinbi is in beta and is free for everyone until January 1, 2027. We won't charge any existing account before then, and we'll tell you before we do.
During the beta, features may change, there may be outages, and we can't promise any particular level of availability or support. We'd love to hear about problems and ideas at support@kinbi.co.
Before any paid plan starts, we'll post its terms here, tell you what's changing and what stays free, and give you a chance to download your information or close your account before you're charged anything.
What we expect the free plan to include:
You can go past these limits during the beta. The first time you do, we'll ask you to agree that anything beyond a limit will be paused on January 1, 2027 unless you've upgraded by then. Paused means hidden and not usable — for example, a paused share link stops opening — but never deleted: it comes back as soon as you upgrade. We'll email you 30, 14 and 3 days before anything is paused, let you choose what stays active, and give you a copy to download first (you can download your data, paused things included, at any time from the account menu). What stays active is yours to choose until that date; if you don't choose, the things you added first stay. From that date the choice is fixed, upgrading is what brings paused things back, and the free plan's limits apply to anything new you add. Nobody is cut off in the middle of a visit: a share a pet sitter is clocked in on is paused only after they clock out. Nothing will be paused until paid plans are available to upgrade to — if they aren't ready by January 1, 2027, the date moves and you get the same notice again. Registered animal rescues won't have these limits. If the numbers change before plans start, we'll update this section and let you know.
What you put into Kinbi is yours. You give us permission to store it and show it as needed to run Kinbi, including to the people you choose to share with.
Please don't use Kinbi to harass or harm any person or animal, to enter false medical or behavior information on purpose, to get into someone else's account, or for anything illegal.
Location. Kinbi can record the approximate location of a sitter's phone when they start a visit, end a visit or check off a task, but only if they leave "include location" on and their phone allows it. It never tracks anyone in the background. Only the pet's owner sees it. Sitters can turn it off and still log everything. Our Privacy Policy has more detail.
Photos. Photos added to a task can be seen by the pet's owner and by the sitters the owner shares that pet with. Please don't upload anything you wouldn't want them to see.
The care log is a record. Tasks, notes, times, locations and photos make up a history the owner can see and download, showing who logged each entry. If you log care in Kinbi, the owner will see it.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep, why, who can see it, and how to get a copy or delete it. It's part of these Terms. In short: we keep what you enter to run Kinbi, and we never sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI.
Emails. Using Kinbi means getting emails from us, like sign-in codes, password resets, sharing invitations and any alerts you've turned on. Some of these can't be turned off while you have an account.
Deleting your account. Go to Your account → Delete account at any time. Your account, pets, records, documents, photos and sharing links are deleted right away. This can't be undone. If you can't sign in, email support@kinbi.co from your account's email address and we'll do it within 30 days. See how to delete your account for more.
Two things stay. Tasks you logged for someone else's pet remain in that owner's history, because it's their record of their pet's care. And if you run a business account, you'll need to remove your staff and clients (or hand the business over) before you can delete it, so their records aren't lost.
We work hard to make Kinbi reliable, but we provide it "as is". We can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or right for your needs.
As far as the law allows, Kinbi isn't responsible for indirect or knock-on losses from using it, including harm to a pet, lost information or lost income. If we are responsible for something, the most we'll owe is the larger of what you paid us in the last 12 months or $100.
If someone makes a claim against Kinbi because of how you used it, because you broke these Terms, because information you entered was wrong or misleading, or because of something a sitter or staff member you invited did, you agree to cover Kinbi's resulting costs.
We're not responsible for delays or problems caused by things we can't reasonably control, like internet or provider outages.
We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email about any important change. If you keep using Kinbi after a change, you're agreeing to the new version.
You can stop using Kinbi and end any sharing at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, see section 8. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.
If a court decides part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Questions, deletion requests or anything else: support@kinbi.co. See also the Privacy Policy and how to delete your account.

Every plan keeps the handbook — routines, quirks, meds, vet numbers — free to read for anyone you share it with.
Every account helps a rescue
Registered animal rescues and shelters use Kinbi free — no seat limit, no catch. Each pet parent, sitter and business that signs up helps keep it that way.
The handbook itself — routine, things to know, medical, documents — plus care links that open with no account on the other end.
Change or cancel whenever. Downgrading keeps every pet on file — the extras just go quiet until you come back.
Registered rescue organizations get the full Team feature set at no cost, for as many animals and volunteers as you have. Every other account that signs up helps make that possible.
Boarding facilities, vet practices, multi-city walking teams, a rescue with two hundred foster files. Tell us the shape of it and we'll quote it.
